U.S. 19 from Sunset Point Road to Countryside Boulevard

Interim Improvements - Stage 2

This project includes the reconstruction of U.S. 19 from Sunset Point Road to Countryside Boulevard. This project will include removing the signal at Enterprise Road and closing the middle of the intersection. Motorists will not be able to cross over U.S. 19 on Enterprise Road in the east/west direction.

The new design will also provide a six-lane controlled access roadway with one-way frontage roads on each side. Traffic to and from Enterprise Road will use the frontage roads and U-turn lanes along U.S. 19.

Construction is anticipated to begin in late 2012 or early 2013.
