Project Description The project consists of removing the traffic signals on U.S. 19 between Whitney Road and S.R. 60 and replacing them with two new interchanges at Seville Boulevard and Belleair Road. The elimination of traffic signals in this project will create uninterrupted travel from 49th Street to Sunset Point Road in Pinellas County. Motorists will still be able to have easy access to local businesses with the addition of frontage roads next to U.S. 19. Additional improvements to S.R. 60 interchange include providing a thru movement along the frontage roads both north and southbound across S.R. 60. Contractor - Hubbard Construction Company Construction Begain - November 30, 2009 Anticipated Completion - Summer 2014 Project Length - 2.7 miles Total Costs - $123,415,463 Consturction and Inspection Cost - $123,415,463
